Legal & Compliance
This separate authorization explains the read-only access you grant when you connect an account. Voyager cannot move money or place trades. DRAFT — requires counsel approval before production use.
When you check the agreement box and select “Agree and connect,” you authorize Voyager to use the connection provider and institution you select to obtain and use your account data for read-only personal-finance management. Plaid may provide eligible bank, cash, credit-card, loan, brokerage, and investment connections. The exact scope depends on the institution and products you enable.
Voyager does not initiate transfers, payments, withdrawals, bill payments, ACH transactions, wire transfers, trades, or changes to your institution account. It does not hold your money or securities.
The connection may provide institution and account identifiers, account names and types, masked account numbers, balances, pending and posted transactions, merchant descriptions, categories, liabilities, recurring-transaction information, and technical connection information. For eligible investment accounts, it may also provide holdings, security identifiers, quantities, prices, values, investment activity, cash balances, and cost-basis information when the brokerage supplies it.
Voyager will not intentionally collect a new product category without disclosing it and obtaining any consent required for that expanded scope.
Voyager uses connected-account data only to provide and support the personal-finance features you request: displaying accounts and activity; calculating balances, net worth, cash flow, and historical views; budgeting, goals, transaction categorization, and recurring-charge insights; investment-holding views; connection security and troubleshooting; and requested exports or deletion.
Voyager does not sell connected-account data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to make a credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other eligibility decision about you or anyone else.
You enter your institution credentials, multi-factor authentication code, and any biometric confirmation directly in the provider-hosted flow or at your financial institution. Voyager does not receive or store your online-banking or brokerage username, password, PIN, security-question answer, or authentication code.
Plaid and your financial institution have their own terms and privacy notices. Review those notices in the connection flow before continuing.
Voyager may obtain updated data periodically while a connection remains active. A connection can be delayed, paused, require reauthentication, or end because of your institution, the provider, security controls, or technical conditions.
You can stop future access by disconnecting an institution in Voyager or contacting privacy@wyna.app. Voyager will stop synchronization and ask the applicable provider to revoke or disable access where the provider supports that action. Disconnecting does not automatically delete data already obtained; see the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.
By accepting, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, reside in the United States, and own the selected account or have lawful authority to connect it. Voyager records the version, document hash, acceptance time, and limited technical evidence needed to establish your affirmative acceptance in an append-only consent record.
This authorization supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It is intentionally separate from optional marketing, research, and non-essential analytics choices, which are not required to connect an account.
